Hot Water Storage Tanks
Midwest Tank has been producing quality hot water storage tanks since 1972. They offer a variety of sizes, linings, heating coils, and working pressures.
The lining recommended most often is a concrete lining. The next option is an epoxy lining with a 9-12 dry mil thickness.
Taco heating coils are available as single-wall or double-wall construction and are ASME certified. To size the coil the following information will be required:
Is there steam or water in the coil?
If steam:
- What is the design steam pressure?
- What is the average tank temperature?
- Design draw in gallons per hour?
- Is it cement lined (Cement-lined tanks requre oversized collars.)?
If water:
- What is the average water temperature/temperature rise?
- What is the average coil temperature?
- Design draw in gallons per hour?
- Is it cement lined (Cement-lined tanks requre oversized collars.)?
*All hot water storage tanks are ASME labeled and are registered with the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessels. Storage tank sizes are available in 100, 125, and 150 PSI design pressures. For other working pressures, please call.
